Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving has always been my favorite holiday. I love the food, cooking special family recipes with my mom, and now that I have children, passing on the traditions that are important to me and starting new traditions. In my home, the holiday is all about being together and remembering all that we have to be grateful for. My "baby" turned three on Thanksgiving, which made the day even more special. Vintage Fashion Sketches
Seeing the beautiful images from fashion week online gives us all immediate satasfaction. We all have access to images of runway looks the moment they appear on the catwalk. While browsing at the Figaro gallery at Vintage Pine, I found these original fashion sketches from Paris Balmain and Christian Dior fashion show's in the 1960's. These delicate sketches were all that buyers had to remember the looks that they loved on the runway. It's the 60's equivelent of style.com! These would be perfect for a fashion designer or a fashion buff, wouldn't they? My photos don't do them justice.
